This notice is provided pursuant to art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code), arts. 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) on 10 June 2021.
It explains which cookies and similar technologies this website uses, what they are for, how long they last, which third-party content is loaded only with your consent, and how you can give, refuse or withdraw your consent at any time.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device (computer, smartphone, tablet), where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on subsequent visits. Besides cookies there are similar technologies that store information on the device or access it, such as the browser's sessionStorage, localStorage and IndexedDB, service workers and Cache Storage: in this notice they are treated in the same way as cookies.
Cookies are called “first-party” when they are set by the website you are visiting and “third-party” when they are set by a different entity, for example through content embedded in the page (a map, a booking form). They may be “session” cookies, if they are deleted when the browser is closed, or “persistent” cookies, if they remain on the device until an expiry date.
Depending on their purpose, the law distinguishes technical cookies, which are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user and may be used without consent (art. 122(1) Legislative Decree 196/2003), from other cookies and tools (for example for profiling, marketing or non-anonymised analytics), which require the user's prior consent.
Technical cookies and tools used by the website
These tools are first-party, are used only to make the website work and are not used to profile you or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. They do not require consent. Legal basis: Article 122(1) of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Third-party content loaded only with your consent
Some pages contain services provided by third parties. When they are loaded, the provider receives your IP address and technical browser data and may set or read its own cookies, in accordance with its own notice. For this reason we only load them after you have given your consent, separately for each category. Until you consent, you see a placeholder in their place and no data is sent to the provider.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 122(1) of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.)
Map of our office on the Contact page. Google may set its own cookies, such as NID and similar cookies, for the purposes and durations stated in its notice, and may also process data in the United States.
OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom)
Map of the departure point on tour pages. The provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. The United Kingdom benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

Regiondo GmbH (Munich, Germany)
Online booking and payment form. Regiondo may set its own cookies, including for managing the shopping cart. The data you enter in the form are processed by Regiondo on behalf of Travel One and by payment service providers, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Travel One has no access to the cookies set by Google and by the OpenStreetMap Foundation and does not determine their purposes or duration: for this information please refer to their respective notices, available from the links above. The cookies of the Regiondo form are used to operate the booking and the shopping cart requested by the user; their list and duration are set out in Regiondo's notice.
No statistics, profiling or advertising cookies
This website does not use cookies or other tools for statistics, analytics, profiling or advertising, whether its own or third-party. In particular, it does not use Google Analytics or similar audience measurement services, advertising pixels or remarketing tools.
Fonts are hosted on our own website, with no requests to Google Fonts. The links to Facebook and Instagram are plain links: there are no social plugins on our pages, so no data is sent to these services unless you click the link.
How to give, refuse and withdraw consent
- On your first visit a banner appears with the buttons “Accept all” and “Reject”, given equal prominence. Closing the banner with the “X” is equivalent to refusing: only technical cookies remain active.
- With “Customise” you can choose the “Maps” and “Online booking” categories separately. Technical cookies are always active.
- If you have not given consent, in place of a map or the booking form you will find a placeholder with the button “Show the map” or “Load the booking form”: clicking it counts as consent for that category only.
- You can change your mind at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page of the website or with the button below.
Your choice is stored in the technical cookie t1_consent for 6 months: after this period, or if you delete your browser cookies or the categories of third-party content change, the banner is shown to you again. We do not show it again earlier.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. After withdrawal we no longer load the content of that category; any cookies already set by the third party can be deleted from your browser settings, as explained below.
How to manage cookies from your browser
In addition to the tools on the website, you can view, block and delete cookies and site data (including sessionStorage, service workers and cache) from your browser settings. These are the official guides of the most common browsers:
If you block technical cookies, some features of the website may not work properly: for example, the website will not remember your chosen language and will show you the banner on every visit. If you use several devices or browsers, the settings must be adjusted on each of them.

This notice may be updated, for example if the tools used by the website change. The version in force is always published on this page, with the date of the last update. If we add new categories of content that require consent, the banner will be shown to you again.
