A unique experience on the snow in the company of our local Winter Nordic Walking instructors, who will guide you through enchanting, unspoilt scenery.
The route starts from the bustling heart of Sappada and leads to the romantic Ziegelhütte Lake, a charming artificial lake located at an altitude of 1,186 m, beyond the Piave, along the Rio Storto. The lake is nestled between the fir woods of the Digola Forest and the first spurs of Col dei Mughi, offering striking views and a true mountain atmosphere.
Along the way there will be plenty of mentions of and interesting facts about the places visited, as well as tips on scenic photo spots.

Snowshoe hike to Ziegelhütte Lake
Sappada
Morning / Afternoon / Evening (depending on the time chosen for the activity)
Stage 1: Welcome and Briefing
Meeting in the bustling heart of Sappada with the local Winter Nordic Walking instructors.
Handing out of poles and a short introduction to snow-walking technique and pacing your effort.
Stage 2: Immersion in Nature
Setting off on foot from the village, leaving the built-up area behind.
Crossing the River Piave and continuing along the course of the Rio Storto.
A relaxing, evocative walk among the towering fir woods of the Digola Forest.
Stage 3: The Heart of the Experience
Arrival at the romantic Ziegelhütte Lake (1,186 m), an artificial lake nestled between the woods and the spurs of Col dei Mughi.
A stop devoted to the instructors' stories: historical anecdotes, local curiosities and tips on the best scenic spots for taking photos.
Stage 4: Return
Walk back to the starting point in Sappada, enjoying the snowy landscape from new perspectives.
